How to use this app — tap a section to learn more
Pinch to zoom in and out. Drag to pan around the DFW area. The map covers all breweries within ~50 miles of the metroplex. Use the layer control (top right of map) to switch between Street and Satellite view.
Tap any pin to open its detail panel. Each pin is color-coded by your tracking status:
Tap the + button in the toolbar to add a brewery not in the list. Enter the name, city, and address — the app will automatically find the location on the map. No coordinates needed.
Tap a pin → tap ✓ Visited in the detail panel. The pin turns dark green on the map. Tap again to unmark.
If you've been to a different location of the same brewery chain (not the specific one pinned), tap ↩ Other Locations. The pin turns light green. These count under the Visited total but are tracked separately.
Tap ♦ Wishlist to add a brewery to your "want to visit" list. The pin turns purple. Great for planning your next outing.
Tap 🔜 Coming Soon to mark a brewery that is announced or under construction but not yet open. The pin turns yellow/gold on the map. These are distinct from your Wishlist — they're breweries that don't exist yet rather than ones you just haven't visited.
Tap ♥ Fav to mark a brewery as a favorite. Favorites get a larger pin on the map and are filterable. You can have as many favorites as you like.
If a brewery has closed, tap ⛔ Mark Closed. The pin becomes a grey square. Many closures are already pre-loaded — tap them to see when they closed and add your notes.
Each brewery has a My Notes field. Write tasting notes, must-try beers, or anything you want to remember. Tap Save notes after writing — notes sync to the cloud if you have a sync code.
Tap 🗑 Delete to remove a brewery you added yourself. For built-in breweries, it hides them from the map. This cannot be undone.
Rate every brewery you've visited with a tier from S (best) to F (worst). Tiers show as colored badges on map pins and appear in your Analytics breakdown.
The row of chips just below the stats bar lets you instantly filter the map with one tap. The active chip is highlighted. Tap All to reset.
Tap ⚙ in the toolbar to open the filter drawer. Here you can filter by city to see only breweries in a specific area, and combine with a status filter for more specific views.
Type in the Search bar to instantly filter by brewery name or city. Works alongside filter chips — combine search + a chip for precise results.
Tap the ☰ button in the toolbar to open the full alphabetical brewery list. This is the fastest way to bulk-update your tracking without tapping individual map pins.
Each row in the list has two checkboxes:
• Visited checkbox — tap to instantly mark visited/unvisited without opening the detail panel
• OOB checkbox — tap to mark a brewery as out of business
Your tier rating shows as a colored badge next to each brewery name in the list. Breweries without a tier have a blank space.
Tap any brewery name in the list to jump the map to that location and open its detail panel. The list panel closes automatically.
Tap the 📊 button in the toolbar to open your analytics dashboard. It updates in real time based on your current tracking data.
